Do you really have goats and milk them?
Yes! We are a family farm, and raise Nigerian Dwarf goats. We take great pride in our herd, and as of 2021, we are officially recognized as a Quality Dairy Producer! We use only farm fresh milk in all of our goat milk products.
Do you have goats for sale?
Our goat mamas begin to kid (give birth) each year in April, and we generally have goat kids for sale. We reserve the right to retain first choice of these babies for our own herd. The remaining goats are available for sale as future milkers or family pets! If you are interested in our goats, we highly recommend being added to our waiting list. As we cannot predict the number of bucks/does we may have born or available for sale, the waiting list is your best chance at getting an early pick on our available babies. The majority of our available goats are placed this way. You can email us for more information on available goats, or to be placed on our waiting list.
How do I make my soap bar last longer?
It’s very important to keep your bar “high and dry”, meaning your bar needs to dry between uses. No one likes a mushy bar! We recommend using a Soap Lift, Soap Saver, or your favorite soap tray. Another way to ensure your bar dries between uses is to have more than one bar in use at a time. This ensures each bar has plenty of drying time between uses, and as a bonus, you get the opportunity to decide what scent you feel like for that day!
Will my soap bar go bad?
No! Another reason why we love soap - like all the best things in life (cheese!) it only gets better with time.
We highly suggest storing your unused soap somewhere that you want to smell good, for example, your closet or drawer. This will make everything around it smell great, and will allow your soap bar to continue to harden while it waits to be used.
When you are ready to use the soap, remove and save the wrapper! Often, customers forget what scent they purchased previously and loved. The wrapper can serve as a helpful reminder AND will still be fragrant, so you can place it in a drawer or anywhere else you need some additional aromatherapy.
Do you use fragrance oils?
Us? Never! Fragrance oils are man made, synthetic scents that we do not use in any of our products. While much less expensive to use, fragrance oils do not reflect our all natural philosophy. We use only therapeutic grade essential oils, i.e, oils taken directly from the plant. Only essential oils offer the aromatherapy benefits that many use for health and wellbeing.
How big are the soap bars?
Our soap bars weigh in at a minimum of 4.5oz. Soap bars that do not meet our minimum weight requirement are sold in our Soap Sack at a discount.

What is your return policy?
At Madd House Hill, we pour real care into every product we make — from our farm to your home. If something isn’t quite right, we’ll make it right — no hassle, no stress.
We offer a 60-Day Happiness Guarantee on most items. If you’re not completely satisfied, contact us within 60 days of your order for a refund, exchange, or replacement.
Because our products are handcrafted with fresh goat milk and natural oils, we can’t accept used or heavily opened items. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please reach out within 7 days so we can send a replacement right away.
Shipping & Packaging
When and how do you ship orders?
We want you to have your products as soon as possible! As excited as you are to receive your order, we may be even more excited to get it to you. We make every effort to get orders received by 2pm out the same business day. That's just how excited we are! If not the same day, expect it to be shipped the following business day. If for any reason we feel it may take us a little longer, we’ll let you know!
Your package will ship USPS Ground Advantage or UPS, depending on the package size and location. Once your package is on the way, you will receive an email with information, including tracking numbers. We encourage you to use the tracking information if you are looking for your package.
What do you charge for shipping?
Shipping will be calculated at checkout, based on the items purchased. Shipping charges depend on the carrier with which the package ships. Orders under one pound will be shipped through USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground Saver. Orders over one pound will be shipped via USPS or UPS Ground.

Looking for your package?
Once your package has shipped, you will receive a tracking number and the ability to follow your order’s journey to you through the USPS or UPS website. This will provide the most up to date information on your order’s location and when it will arrive.
Please keep in mind that once an order leaves our farm, we can’t control when the carrier will deliver it. Occasionally, carriers might experience delays beyond our control - weather, staffing, etc. We have access to the same tracking information that you do and can provide no additional information as to when the package will arrive or where it was delivered.
Very rarely, packages may be damaged during transit. Please contact us if you have a shipment that arrives damaged, and we will direct you to the appropriate resources to file a claim with the carrier.
How are your products packaged? Can I send them as a gift?
All of our products are hand packaged in beautiful, eco-friendly wraps or labels. They are visually pleasing and perfect for yourself and gift giving. When packaging, we use sturdy mailing boxes, colored shreds, recycled popcorn or other materials that helps get your package to you undamaged.
If you are sending a gift, you have an option at checkout to add a gift message at no charge. When shipping gifts, we do not include a receipt - just a packing slip.
